LEADING THE WAY FARMERS WAY
Our implementation model operates on a self-feedback mechanism that interconnects the four pillars of Sustainability. These pillars encompass the production/output of farm goods for human consumption, nutrient-rich fodder for animals, energy generation and management systems, and the monetization of farm output. Together, these elements form a cohesive and orchestrated system designed to yield tangible results.
“Farmers Way” directly contributes to SDG 2 by focusing on sustainable food production. By establishing four season kitchen gardening & rooftop agriculture and a total self-sustainable design model, production patterns are fully protected from external forces/elements. Thus, the project aims to increase food security to its optimum level possible and therefore reduce the dangerous impact of hunger from arising. Access to nutritious, high protein based foods is a major application of the project, with remote rural areas given particular consideration.
The projects implementation and practice of GAP (Good Agriculture Practices) and sustainable farming practices within “Farmers Way” ensures that the food produced is GMO free, free from harmful chemicals, pesticides, and synthetic urea. By reducing water usage through these practices and also preventing pollution, the project helps preserve clean water sources, sustainable water use and thus contributes to achieving the UN SDG 6.
“Farmers Way” utilizes renewable energy sources such as solar and wind power to meet its energy needs. Additionally, with access to a continuous supply of manure availability in almost all regions, an affordable and advanced to bar 5 bio gas energy plant has been developed. By relying on affordable and clean energy alternatives, the project supports and is in complete compliance of the UN SDG 7
